Subiaco have appointed a new Strength and Conditioning specialist with Daniel Hiscock joining the Lions.
Hiscock arrives at the club after the departure of Jackson Dennis who was hired by the Fremantle Dockers after the Lions 2015 Premiership Season.
Hiscock has previously worked for the East Perth Royals and the Australian Institute of Sport specialising in Hockey.
With over four years of experience in the field Hiscock is excited to begin the next chapter.
“It is a really exciting opportunity to be able to implement a strength and conditioning program at the Subiaco Football Club,
Subi provided the chance and I’m looking forward to learning and growing alongside the playing group in 2016.” Said Hiscock
The UWA Graduate spent three years at East Perth previously and is settling in after his first weeks in the role.
“The transition has been enjoyable but challenging at the same time.
“I’ve met the playing group and we've allocated the most effective strength and conditioning strategies to compliment Jarrad Schofield's game style.” Said Hiscock
The Lions have already hit the track for pre-season and the newly appointed S+C specialist has been impressed with the reigning premiers club culture.
“We’ve been testing the playing group and gauging their fitness levels over the pre-season,
“We did our first testing last week and will measure the squad up to their initial results throughout the rest of the pre-season,
"The playing squad is in excellent knick. The group has a fantastic culture of driving each other and fighting for the extra yards so I’ve been impressed,
"Of course there’s always areas we want to improve on and we’ll work hard to ensure further progress before the season starts." added Hiscock
