Here come the Halligan's

Kyle, Luke and Jake were all sourced from our development pathway and the Halligan’s have become a well-represented family at the Subiaco Football Club.
Kyle currently plays league football for the Lions and has capped 24 games since making his debut in 2013.
The energetic forward has kicked 17 goals in 2015 and provided one of the marks of the year playing for the reserves in Round Seven.

Family packages aren’t an uncommon thing in football with the O’Brien’s at East Fremantle, the Hams at South Fremantle, the Blakely’s at Swan Districts and the Deluca’s at Subi in 2014.
The Halligan’s could be the next WAFL family affair but Player Development Officer Neil Arnold hopes they can all make their own individual impact.
“It’s great to have brothers like the Halligan’s representing Subiaco but they’ve achieved everything on their own merits and we hope to extract the potential they all have as individual footballers.” said Arnold
The brothers share some similarities on the field but are all at different stages of their development.
“There are minor similarities, they’re all pretty physical players and don’t mind putting their head over the ball. They’re good contested ball winners and have fantastic character,
“But they’re all at different levels as players. Kyle has proven himself at league level and continues to work hard to achieve his potential. Luke has broken into the colts team this year and is developing as a player and Jake is training with the Colts after being elevated from our 16’s Excellence Program.” added Arnold
