SUBIACO will be out for revenge when they face Peel Thunder in round 23 at Bendigo Bank Stadium on Saturday.
The Lions defeated Peel in round 2, but were defeated by the Thunder in round 17 at Medibank Stadium.
The round 17 38-point loss to Peel ended Subiaco's finals hopes for season 2012.
Subiaco midfielder Brett Mahoney said the Lions would be playing for pride on Saturday.
"You never go out there wanting to lose," he said.
"We're probably looking towards next year now but we want to show something at the end of this year in these to games to move into next year.
"Peel knocked us off last time here so we definitely owe them one so we'll look to beat them down there on their home soil."
Subiaco have recently turned their focus to the future with debuts to young gun Dom Sheed, Joel Ashman and Michael Genovese.
The Lions will face Peel and Claremont in their final two games with the aim of taking something into season 2013.
Mahoney said it was important to get the winning feeling back amongst the group.
"When we've lost this year it's been from just not playing as a team. So we just want to play as a team," he said.
"The young kids are playing so we just want to get as much time under their belts as possible.
"We definitely want to go out with two wins but look Claremont they're obviously on the top of the ladder and we're playing them last game so we want to beat them to show that we are up to it."
League bounce down is at 2:10pm, Reserves 11:40am and Colts 9.30am.
