Subiaco has bounced back in style, with a 41-point win over Peel Thunder at Leederville Oval on Saturday June 10.

The Lions attacked the contest hard, and played four solid quarters of football to pick up the four points.

Their relentless attitude helped them keep the Thunder scoreless for the match.

It was a much needed win for the side, who sit half a game outside the top four with two games to go.

Midfielder Meg Brown played one of the best games of her career, with 27 touches and two goals.

Meanwhile, young gun Olivia Crane continued her strong season, with 21 disposals and a whopping 10 tackles.

With the Lions’ season on the line, the side welcomed back Tiah Toth and Madizen Wilkins for the clash.

It was a contested start to the game, but the Lions had plenty of inside 50 entries early.

Hanna Dethlefsen was clean below her knees and gathered the ball in the wet conditions, before putting through her side’s first goal for the match.

It helped the side to an eight-point lead at quarter time.

Subiaco continued the pressure in the second term, refusing to give Peel an inch.

Eva Popovsky looked dangerous in front of goal, snapping through a goal to extend the lead.

After some missed chances to start the third term, Meg Brown got the soccer off the ground to kick truly for goal.

From there, the result was a formality, with Subiaco running away with the 5.11 (41) to 0.0 (0) win.

In the Rogers Cup earlier in the day, the side completed their first win since round four, defeating Peel Thunder by 10 points.
