Subi signs Hayden & Schofield
Subiaco is proud to announce the signing of Kyron Hayden and Taj Schofield for the 2023 season.
Proud products of the SFC District, Hayden and Schofield played their junior football with Noranda and Sorrento-Duncraig respectively.
Hayden recently departed North Melbourne after four seasons with the club. Selected in 2018, Hayden was listed as an athletic defender boasting an AFL Combine Record for the Vertical Jump. With 17 AFL Games under his belt, Hayden is a great addition to the Lions.
Moving from Port Adelaide, Schofield is well-known throughout the Club. An integral part of the 2018 Subiaco Colts Premiership, Schofield was selected in the 2020 AFL Draft and has been integrated with the Port Adelaide system for the past two seasons.
GM of Football Operations, Kristian Dicton, said: “We are thrilled with the addition of Kyron and Taj to our playing list. Both players will add depth to our midfield brigade and bring some speed across the park”.
Dicton continued, “They are both driven young men who will add to the professionalism at the club after their stints at AFL level and are keen to get Subiaco FC back in finals contention in season 2023.”
The club looks forward to seeing the boys back in Maroon & Gold in 2023!
