Subiaco set for blockbuster clashes as WAFL releases new fixtures
Subiaco are set for an exciting month of football, after rounds 10-14 of the WAFL season were announced by the league.
The week of Round 10 sees the Lions head to Bassendean to take on Swan Districts in a clash that will no doubt be heated after Subiaco’s come-from-behind victory in Kalgoorlie.
Round 11 is all about the WAFLW, with a standalone weekend announced for the Grand Final, meaning the men will have a bye.
Following the bye, tensions will again be high as the Lions will be looking for revenge over East Fremantle at home after their clash in round six at the WACA Ground.
Round 13 will be a special occasion for Subiaco’s Colts side, who will play Peel Thunder under lights at Lane Group Stadium, following the men’s League match.
Finally, the 23rd of July marks round 14, where Subiaco will return to Leederville Oval to host Claremont in the battle of the big cats.
The fixtures are set to decide Subiaco’s season, with the matches all against teams pushing to be in the top five at the end of the regular season.
