Subiaco Football Club launches the Lion Foundation
At the recent North Perth Community Bank Match proudly supported by the City of Vincent, the Subiaco Football Club launched the Lion Foundation.
The Foundation will strategically manage our non-football community initiatives and partnerships within our focus areas of indigenous & multicultural engagement, developing women & girls, disability, inclusion, employment, training and mental health education. Whilst our emphasis is on the community we live and play in our players will prove to benefit from this alignment via opportunities in employment, training, networking and life skills.
The Lion Foundation focuses on delivering positive outcomes by working with our community, seeing what they recognise as gaps and creating inspiring sessions. Our network of partners and volunteers will deliver programs throughout Western Australia that include sports, education and the arts. By running these programs, we are able to help participants gain access to opportunities they may not have had otherwise.
The commitment to our junior football clubs remains the same however we hope through the Foundation we can offer extra value-adding programs such as leadership & culture, mental & physical health plus many more.
