Subiaco has confirmed its senior squad’s jumper numbers ahead of the 2019 season.

A number of premiership players from both the league and reserves sides in 2018 have seen a change in jumper for the new season while new and returning players to the club have been allocated numbers for the year ahead.

Highlighting the changes is at the top of the list, with new captain Leigh Kitchin taking on the number 1 jumper, continuing the recently installed tradition of the club’s captain wearing the number 1 jumper.

Outgoing captain Kyal Horsley will revert back to another new jumper for 2019, set to wear the number 28 jumper.

Meanwhile Kitchin who had worn number 5 for his entire career with Subiaco so far, sees his old number go to returning midfielder Simon Moore.

After moving to Melbourne in 2019, Chris Phelan has handed over his number 15 jumper to highly regarded young midfielder Jack Beverley.

Star recruit Harry Marsh will slide into the number 7 jumper, made vacated by retiring Subiaco great Adam Cockie.

League premiership defender Jacob Miller will also be in a new jumper swapping his 30 for number 16 in 2019.

Kaidyn Fullgrabe will move into the number 19 replacing retired premiership player Brad Stevenson, while Ben Reid will take on the number 23 jumper replacing the drafted Zac Clarke.

Other reserves premiership players to change jumpers for 2019 include Ethan Burnett to 29, Travis Cleggett to 30, Tom Edwards-Baldwin to 31, Jakob Atkinson to 38 and Max Dennis to 49.

Returning players to the club for 2019 include Ryan Vermeersch back into 26, Joel Latham back into 39, Josh Chapman back into 45 and Jo Scafidi into 55.

Recruits to the club Jakeb Tartaglia will wear 61, Jackson Capurso will wear 62 and Nixon Hamlet will wear 64.

Colts premiership players who have stepped strongly into the senior program include Jack Mayo who will wear number 37, Liam Hickmott who will wear number 41, Kyle Stainsby who will wear number 59 and Mach Deng who will wear number 60.
