In recent times a nail biter against East Fremantle has been one of the best recent clashes.

Round 13, a round with a little bit of everything:

1986

Subiaco 180 d Swan Districts 80

Subiaco’s dominance in the 1986 season would continue in round 13 with a big win over the Swan Districts. After a tight first quarter Subiaco burst into life in the second, breaking the game out to a 43 point lead and from there they would control the whole game with the result never in doubt from that point forward. Subiaco had a field day with 10 players recording 20 or more disposals with 6 of those players recording 29 disposals or more. Brian Taylor had the best day of them all recording 39 disposals and 2 goals.

2012

An out of form Subiaco side headed into this contest in 2012 with all the history on their side. Subiaco had beaten East Fremantle 24 out of the past 25 encounters between the two teams. Subiaco would lead the game the majority of the way, and after a big third term they headed into the last with a 32 point lead. East Fremantle would try their best to come back scoring 33 points in the last quarter but it would be to no avail as Subiaco would once again pick up the win. Rhys Waters played an outstanding game in the win recording 25 disposals and 4 goals.
