Community Partnerships
Subiaco is proud to partner a range of community groups and charitable causes.
We at the Subiaco Football Club are proud to be an integral part of our local community. With our community stretching from our traditional base in Subiaco, our current home in Vincent as well as throughout our metro and regional districts we aim to use sport and Australian Rules as a way of supporting the community. We continue to look to grow our community outreach and are always investigating ways to support local groups, individuals and causes.
Some of these groups, individuals and causes are:
PROST!
Prost! Inc. is a not for profit organisation that provides professionally guided exercise training and support to men during Prostate Cancer treatment, so they can optimise their recovery.
It was founded by Men's Health Physiotherapist Jo Milios in 2013 and was the first community based exercise program in the world. The exercise program is run by a qualified Exercise Physiologist, with sessions held each Tuesday and Thursday morning at the Subiaco Football Club training facilities in Leederville.
The vision of Prost! is a world where male health issues are prioritised, recognised, understood and practiced with respect, compassion and encouragement for the benefit of all humanity.
The Subiaco Football Club assists Prost! by providing their training facilities twice a week so that members in the Prost! group have a high quality facility to use while they continue to work towards individual recovery.
