Round Four’s clash against West Coast will be more than just a WAFL fixture; with Subiaco honouring the ANZACS with the Andrew Christie Cup again for 2021.

The very reason we can play the game we love is because of the sacrifice that thousands of Australian’s made in the First World War and the Subiaco Football Club honour this sacrifice with the Andrew Christie cup every year.

This past Saturday in overcast, windy conditions saw Subiaco head down to Shark Park to face up against a competitive East Freo side. The Lions held their nerve as the Sharks brought the pressure in a tight three quarters, but it was the five goals to one in favour of Subi in the last quarter that saw them pull away with a 33-point victory.
