WAFLW Match Preview v Swan Districts

Tuesday, July 28, 2020 - 9:04 AM

This Saturday afternoon, Subiaco Women’s will clash with Swan Districts at Steel Blue Oval with bouncedown at 3.10pm, as they look to go 3-0.

The Swans kicked Subiaco out of the finals series last year, so the Lions will be hungry to get the win and keep Swan Districts out of the top four.

Recent history suggests that this will be a tight contest with the teams playing each other four times, both winning two each.

Subiaco is the only team undefeated in the 2020 WAFLW Premiership Season, with a nail-biting win against Claremont in round one and a hard-earned victory against reigning premiers East Fremantle in round two. The Subi team are establishing themselves as the team to beat after two rounds of the season already completed.
