Form

After last week’s performance against Perth on Thursday night, the Lions will be coming off a nine-day break and will be looking to yet again bring their best football to Leederville Oval as they take Swan Districts. Subiaco has shown their ability to move the ball efficiently across the ground which has had a positive impact on the scoreboard throughout the season. The lions will be looking to maintain their winning streak and current form this weekend against Swans.

Opponents form

Swan Districts collected their third win on the weekend against West Coast, winning by less than a goal. Swan Districts still sit on the bottom of the ladder, however, will be hungry to get another win after edging out the Eagles at their home ground. A win to Swan Districts will lift them off the bottom of the ladder, pending the result from the East Fremantle v East Perth game.

Last 5 games

The last time both teams went head to head was in round five this season which saw Subiaco walk away from Steel Blue Oval with an 18-point win. Subiaco has been able to come away with the win to all of the last five games, including some victories by large margins. Three of the last five games have been played at the Lions' home ground at Leederville Oval.

100 WAFL games

This weekend’s game against Swan Districts will see Lachlan Delahunty and Aaron Heal play their 100thWAFL game.

Delahunty relocated to Subiaco from Frankston, VIC at the start of 2014 and debuted in round one against South Fremantle. Heal made his league debut in 2011 with Peel Thunder against Claremont, before leaving the WAFL at that end of the season, Heal then returned to the WAFL in 2014 playing for Subiaco.
