Golds & Ladies Forum April Meeting Review

The joint monthly GOLDS and Ladies Forum meeting was held earlier this month, with a great turnout of members for another night of fellowship amongst these Coterie Groups.

 

Both areas of the football department were heavily represented and spoke during the evening, with Beau Wardman and Michael Farmer representing the senior program and Chayce Creedy and Kristian Dicton representing the talent program.

 

New league coach Wardman, relayed to members that the aspiration between the football department is to grow on last year’s successes while also dealing with challenges of improved WAFL clubs including the newly formed West Coast WAFL side.

 

Wardman and Football Manager Farmer indicated to members that the club has strong player depth which will allow competitive results to be achieved across all grades in 2019.

 

On top of these special guests, current Subiaco senior players Craig Hoskins and Justin Joyce were also in attendance for the dinner.

 

Both Hoskins and Joyce spoke of their respective football journeys that has seen them come through junior clubs from within the Subiaco District to become league premiership players.

 

As part of the Ladies Forum meeting, the group finalised details for their annual sausage sizzle, to be held on Saturday April 27th in conjunction with the Subiaco match day against Peel.

 

The Ladies Forum continue on members support as they continue to contribute towards the Colts Scholarship and Welfare projects, with all match day attendees encouraged to support the Ladies Forum in Round Four.

 

The next GOLDS meeting with be held on Tuesday May 7th at the Leederville Sports Bar and Functions Centre.
