Horsley Heads In as 2018 Sandover Favourite

Monday, September 17, 2018 - 8:23 AM

With the Sandover Medal set to take place at Optus Stadium tonight, Subiaco has the overwhelming favourite in Kyal Horsley to take out the WAFL’s highest individual honour.

The Subiaco captain, Horsley has been instrumental all season long, leading his side from the front, determined to make 2018 a successful season for the Lions.

While Horsley has always stated the team is important, and has preached the need for every Subiaco player to contribute to their season, it has been his sheer impact in every game and determination to win football games that has left him as the Sandover favourite.

Just how will Horsley perform, take a look back at the season of Subiaco’s captain and leader, to see where he might finish and perhaps who might be the Lions that are also in line for a high count on Monday night.
