Game Day Information Subiaco V East Fremantle - Round 10, 2018

Two of the biggest events on the Subiaco match day calendar are set to ignite Leederville Oval this weekend as Subiaco says thanks to its members with Member Appreciation Day while the Subiaco district will be celebrating Family Fun Day.

 

There will be activities going on across the day off field while on field Subiaco will look to return from another bye week, by maintaining winning ways against East Fremantle.

 

Be at Leederville Oval to cheer on the maroon and gold for another great day of WAFL action.

Getting There:                                       

There are three main entrance gates into Leederville Oval, one off Vincent Street, one off Oxford Street and one in close proximity to Richmond Street near the Loftus Recreation Centre.

 

Nearest train station is Leederville train station, on the Joondalup Line. Leederville Oval is a short 8 minute walk from Leederville train station. Trains depart every 15 minutes in both directions on game day.

 

Nearest bus stop is 12694 situated closest to the Richmond Street entrance with bus number 402, 403 and 404 stopping here. Bus stop 12676 stops on Oxford Street closest to the Vincent Street and Oxford Street entrances with bus number 15 stopping here.

  

Parking is available at the Loftus Recreation Centre, street parking on Richmond Street and various car parks throughout Leederville.

 

Members with parking can enter via Oxford Street and park in the S.I.D.E carpark or in ground depending on your pass.

 

Tickets

On Game Day tickets can be purchased from any of the three gates located off Vincent Street, Oxford Street and Richmond Street.  Adult Tickets $15. Concession Tickets $12. Under 16s Free.

 

McDonalds Kids Zone

A dedicated kid zone will be available for the kids from 12.30pm. With inflatables, face painting, handball games and other footy games available for kids of all ages, bring the kids for a day of fun at Leederville Oval.

 

Win by being at Leederville Oval

Winning has never been easier, simply be at Leederville Oval on Saturday! Some members will receive a free gift, kids will have the opportunity to win a signed Subiaco football, there will be a signed Subiaco leaders jumper on offer, junior clubs will battle it out for AFL tickets at Optus Stadium and a 2018 signed jumper.

 

Member Appreciation Day Free Gift

The first 50 members through the Vincent Street and Richmond Street Entrances will receive a free gift from the Subiaco Football Club as part of Member Appreciation Day. Subiaco Members are encouraged to get to Leederville Oval early to make the most of their membership of the club.

 

Junior Club Parade

Subiaco welcomes its junior clubs to Leederville on Saturday. Please show your support pre-match when junior players from Balga, Carine, Kingsley, Kingsway, Sorrento Duncraig, Stirling and Warwick Greenwood Junior Football Clubs participate in the junior club parade.

 

Signed Subiaco Leadership Jumper

Simply spend $10 upstairs at the Subiaco Sports Bar at Leederville Oval and go in the draw to win a signed jumper from the leaders at the Subiaco Football Club. Coach Jarrad Schofield, captain Kyal Horsley and the rest of the leadership group have signed this very special 2018 jumper that could be yours simply by spending $10 at the Subiaco bar.

 

Junior Club Half Time Relay

Each junior club President and three players from each junior club will compete in a half time relay. Cheer on your favourite junior club as they race to win at half time.

 

Post Game Presentations

Hang around after the game with the post-game presentations from 6pm in the main bar upstairs at Leederville Oval. Hear from coaches Jarrad Schofield and Matt Cavedon, celebrate the award winners of the day and enjoy a drink with the Subiaco members, players and coaches. Women’s presentations will round off the night from 7pm.

 

Family Friendly Fun

WAFL Football remains a family friendly environment. All attendees are welcome to come onto the field during the quarter breaks. Please keep a distance from team huddles and leave the ground at the sound of the two sirens.

 

Topolini’s TO-GO

Get hamburgers, footy chips, continental rolls and all your food favourites by visiting Topolini’s TO-GO, located upstairs in the alfresco area alongside the Subiaco bar.

 

Handsome Stranger Coffee

Need a coffee on game day? Head to Handsome Stranger set up alongside the Subiaco members area. With great coffee available all day, help support ‘Kitch’ and grab a Handsome Stranger coffee.

 

Bar Areas

Subiaco Bar will be open from 10.30am and is open to all match attendees. The Subiaco Sports Bar will remain open after the game and is the perfect place to enjoy the action.

Bulleit Bourbon & Cola will be available all day for $7! Get to the upstairs bar and enjoy a drink at the Subiaco Sports Bar.

 

Team Store

The Subiaco Team Store will open at 12.00pm located on the ground floor of the Subiaco building. The team store is the perfect spot to get your winter necessities, beanies, scarves and hoodies will all be available on Saturday to keep you warm as you cheer on the maroon and gold.

 

Ronald McDonald House Charity Round

Round 10 of the WAFL season is being promoted as RMHC Round with league partner McDonalds supporting Saturday’s game. Give generously to support this wonderful cause with donation tins around the ground on Saturday.

 

Women’s Showcase Game

After the league game, the Subiaco Women’s team will compete in a much anticipated WAWFL battle against West Perth. Hang around after the league game and cheer on the Lions Ladies as they look to kick-start their 2018 season with a win over Subiaco’s great rivals.

Bring your footy and have a kick on Leederville Oval during the breaks. If you need a footy please stop by the Subiaco Team Store and pick one up from $10.

Two radio broadcasts will be available for Saturday’s clash.
