Subiaco Leadership Group Hold Successful Membership Drive

Monday, March 26, 2018 - 4:57 PM

The Subiaco Leadership Group were notable absentees on the training track last Monday night.

This wasn’t an unknown absence though, as the leadership boys had a more important message to send, as they spent three hours on the phones ringing up 2017 Members encouraging them to renew for 2018.

Captain Kyal Horsley, vice captain Leigh Kitchin and fellow leadership group members Justin Joyce, Clancy Wheeler, Lachlan Delahunty and Hayden Kennedy all took the time to speak to members about what lies ahead in 2018 and encourage them to renew their membership for 2018.

In what was a highly successful evening, the boys were able to either take renewal memberships on the night or encourage fans through the online membership portal with over 60 new memberships coming through within the 12 hours of Monday night and Tuesday morning.

This represented the greatest growth in membership so far in 2018 and gave Subiaco’s membership numbers a much needed boost ahead of the start of the season this week.

All six of the boys had their own strategy and technique with the members with all six boys enjoying the experience of getting on the phone and talking to Subiaco members about the club.

Lachlan Delahunty was a star performer on the night with “Dela” a popular figure with members that he called. Not far behind the country larrikin in Clancy Wheeler was a popular phone call as was the youngest member of the leadership group in Hayden Kennedy.

All 2017 Subiaco members who have not yet renewed are encouraged to sign up this week and ensure that they are a Subiaco member for 2018 when the team starts its campaign against East Perth on Good Friday.

Memberships will be available for pick up on match day, with the team store to be open from 2.00pm to 4.15pm and again at half time.

All members and Subiaco fans are encouraged to be at Leederville Oval this Friday, first bounce in the league at 4.15pm with Season Launch to follow at 7.30pm
