Subiaco Set to Launch Season on Good Friday
The Subiaco Football Club will launch their season, with a historic whole of club Season Launch, on Friday March 30th from 7.30pm following the Good Friday Round One clash with East Perth.
This landmark event will see for the first time players from the Subiaco senior teams, Subiaco colts teams and Subiaco women’s teams; be presented to fans and members of the Subiaco Football Club.
The Season Launch will be held upstairs in the main member’s bar at Leederville Oval with all welcome for what promises to be one of the biggest nights of 2018 for Subiaco and the Lions faithful.
As part of this event there will be a host of festivities:
- Subiaco Senior, Colts & Women’s players all presented to members
- Introduction to new Subiaco players for 2018
- Player Group Auction held with $4,000 worth of prize money on offer
- League Coach Jarrad Schofield and Captain Kyal Horsley to speak on 2018
- Chances to win tickets to AFL games at Optus Stadium in 2018
- Great member’s drink prices including an $8 pint special
- Food available across the evening
For the first time ever a “Player Group Auction” will be held incorporating all senior players as well as players from the colts and women’s program. In a renewed format winners will be paid out on major award winners for the year and prize money has been guaranteed at $4,000 meaning that one lucky punter could walk away with the whole $4,000 come the end of the year.
With limited options to spend a night on Good Friday, the Subiaco Football Club and the 2018 Season Launch is the perfect way to wrap up the first day of official footy for 2018 as we look forward to what promises to be an exciting year.
