Subiaco has finalised its coaching panels for the 2018 season across all grades with a strong focus towards maintaining continuity among the coaching ranks.

Senior coach Jarrad Schofield returns for his sixth season in charge of the Lions, with Subiaco having made the Grand Final in the past four seasons.

Schofield and his Lions will be embarking on a historic fifth straight Grand Final appearance in 2018, with the club having recorded four straight Grand Final appearances three times in club history.

Supporting Schofield as assistant coaches are the returning Steve Wasley and Nigel Hamilton, with this experienced duo a key component to Subiaco’s recent success. Wasley will oversee Subiaco’s midfield again in 2018 while Hamilton again heads up the defensive group at Subiaco.

Ryan Redfern comes on as a new assistant coach looking after the forwards in 2018. Redfern has had extensive involvement with Subiaco and in coaching and is seen as another key piece of Subiaco’s 2018 coaching group.

As previously announced Matt Cavedon has come on board as Reserves Coach with a settled and experienced group to support Cavedon and the reserves team.

Robbie Forrest will oversee the Reserves midfield, Martine Pearman will oversee the Reserves backs and Matt Scully will oversee the Reserves forwards.

Other assistant coaches will see Jason Hoskins looking after the forwards and Chayce Creedy looking after the defenders of the Subiaco colts.

With an ongoing focus on developing players and providing a pathway for coaches, the club has implemented a strong development coach focus for the 2018 season.
