Preview Rd 23 - For the Kids

The Lions will use their final home-game for season 2013 to celebrate their youngest fans.

Playing host to the bottom placed Peel Thunder, the team is desperately searching for their 6th win of the season and while there will be plenty of action on the field, the youngsters wont miss out either.

The QBE Fun Zone will be up and running and will feature footy games, agility tests, hand ball competitions, tattoos, inflatables and a colouring in competition.

The senior game gets under from 2:05pm and Lions coach Jarrad Schofield will be out to even the ledger after Peel’s 9 point win over Subiaco in round 8.

Peel will throw everything at the Lions given that it’s their final outing for season 2013 as they have a bye in the final round.

GAME CHANGERS

FIRST HANDS

Fremantle listed Peel ruckmen Craig Moller and Jack Hannath dominated South Fremantle's Sean Tighe last week how ever the Bulldogs midfield were able to get their hands on the ball first.

The pair take on a much more experienced prospect this week in Andrew McDougall.

GOAL KICKERS

Peel’s Marlon Motlop and Brad Holmes both kicked three goals despite the team being pummeled by Souths. Holmes is capable of kicking a bag, proving this when he nailed 6 back in round 16.

Just a quick reminder the Ladies forum holding a cake stall, the club will run a silent auction and hold a members draw with a $1000 jackpot. <More info here>
