Colts reel in Sharks

A six goal first term set up Subiaco for a 13.6 (84) to 11.11 (77) win against East Fremantle in a scintillating game at East Fremantle Oval.

Dylan Clarke slotted five goals straight in his best performance of the year, helped out by an industrious midfield who matched a power-house East Fremantle at stoppages to gain at advantage.

The Lions goal-kicking accuracy was the deciding factor, setting up a clinical goal-kicking display to rise above the finals bound Sharks.

Influential Players:
Dylan Clarke :
Dylan Clarke is fast proving himself as an elite player at Colts level with another game-changing performance. The Kalgoorlie sourced Clarke provided his best performance of the year with 18 disposals and five goals. The youngster drew demand of taggers early which freed up other players like Halligan and Garcia.

Declan Jackson:
Probably doesn’t get as much credit as he deserves. It’s hard to find a solid full-back at Colts level but Declan Jackson continues to be the rock of this fledgling team.

Kyle Halligan:
I’m getting sick of writing about this guy but he keeps pushing himself into the article. 2012 is proving as a break-out year for Halligan who is developing a promising future in football. Another 20 plus possessions and two goals against a top four team proves he can match it with the best.

Joshua Deluca; 16 year old brother of league player Christopher Deluca made his debut today and proved the game of football runs in the family. The debutant had four inside 50’s and impressed onlookers with his good disposal.

Dylan Clarke claims the Dream Team rights this week with a season high 111. The roving midfielder gathered 19 possessions and kicked five goals straight in an outstanding display.
