Subiaco District Welcomes New Member

The Subiaco District welcomes a new staff members. The district would like to welcome Ben Haywood as the new Development Officer of the mighty Lions district.  Ben has just graduated at Notre Dame University in Fremantle, completing his Bachelor of Commerce degree.

Ben will be taking over from Daniel Tincknell as Development Officer and join Luke Sanders as part of the District Development team. Ben will be responsible for the running of all School, Junior Football and Coaching programs through-out the Lions District.

The Subiaco FC wishes Ben the best of luck with his new position and we hope he enjoys the experience.

 

Esperance Juniors Make The Move!

Eight young Esperance footballers are set to make the move to Subiaco early next year to take part in the colts program in 2009. Brett Whiting, Ryan Prott, Morgan Prott, Jarrad Aurisch, Brodie Green, Nik Scott, Rick Graham and Luke Sellenger will all be relocating early January 2009 and look to make their mark in the WAFL competition.

Lombardi Appointed 16's Coach

The Subiaco Football Club are excited to announce that Silv Lombardi has been appointed as the 16s coach for the Mark Nicoski Football Excellence Program taking over from Daine Burnett.

 

Silv is a former league player with Swan Districts and has been the assistant coach to the 16s program for the last two years. He is currently head of sport at La Salle College and brings a wealth of knowledge on youth sports to the program.

Titans aim for perfect season

The Coastal Titans are one win away from securing a fourth WAWFL division one premiership on Sunday morning at Subiaco Oval.

Finals football traditionally takes place in September around many Australian clubs but the WAWFL is heating up in its final week of competition. 

The Titans are yet to taste defeat this season and are boosted by 2008 Fairest and Best, Deanne Coates; Rookie of the Year, Nicole Bolton; and Highest Goal Scorer, Loren Fricker.
