A full complement of 36 teams teed off in the 2008 Justin Langer TCCP Charity Golf Day in October to help raise a record amount of $85,000 for Cerebral Palsy.

Congratulations to Laurence Scrap Metals, Subiaco Football Club & Buildsec Security for respectively taking home gold, silver and bronze places in the tournament.

Scarboro Toyota, major sponsors of the event who very generously donated a Toyota Yaris as a hole in one prize, were able to put it back in the showroom at the end of the day – maybe next year!

The outstanding results achieved through key events like The Centre’s Charity Golf Day would not be possible without the wonderful support received from businesses through sponsorships and donations of prizes. This year the auction items were outstanding. Coupled with the skills and enthusiasm of MC/Auctioneer and long term supporter Tim Gossage, a record amount was raised this year.

Congratulations to Steve Wright for not only being in the winning team, but also for winning the Callaway Raffle and so very generously donating the golf clubs back to be auctioned again. And also a big thank you to the Network Ten/Fortron, Phoenix Mecano/Southshore and Barrick Tables for donating $1,750 from their prize money and personal donations to Bree, Ashlyn and Ashley, three of our Wheelie Big Challenge Champions, to help them with their fundraising goals in this year’s Challenge. Inspirational!
