Subiaco Football Club’s Ryan Campbell is back at the wicket doing what he does best. That’s right; Cambo is currently in Indian smashing plenty of runs in the 20/20 Indian Cricket League.
Cambo is representing the Ahmedabad Rockets in the Indian 20/20 cricket competition, playing alongside fellow West Aussie teammates Damien Martin and Murray Goodwin. He was awarded Man of the Match in the Rockets 3rd Match against the Mumbai Champs, scoring a blistering 92* off just 52 balls, smashing 12 fours and 4 sixes.Cambo opening the batting with former teammate Murray Goodwin then followed up with an unbeaten 137 opening run partnership to guide the Rockets to their 2nd win (Ryan scoring a fantastic 66* off 35 balls). After playing 6 games for far in the tournament Cambo is averaging a brilliant 49.25.
Unfortunately the Rockets look like they will miss out on the finals of the Indian Cricket League, having only won 2 games thus far into the tournament.
