Once again our back half was very good. They were superbly led by Simon White, Ben Walker, Michael Genovese and Ben Keevers. To restrict East Perth to eight goals and provide good run was a terrific performance.
A very talented midfield group eventually wore down their opponents to once again help us to over 300 disposals. Jason Bristow, Marty Smith and Chris Hood led the way in a very even spread of team orientated footy.
An even forward line performance was highlighted with our regular centre-half-back in Simon White moving forward and kicking 4 second-half goals. With a total of nine goal scorers for the day, it was a group effort that enabled us to kick a total of 16 goals for the day.
By winning 13 of our last 14 games, we will finish the Home and Away series in 1st place, which has been a superb result by all involved.
I hope we get a lot of support from you fabulous Subi supporters when we contest out Second-Semi Final contest in two weeks time. The boys have done extremely well to finish the season in this way, and are hoping for your support as they confront the finals series.
