At times, particularly early on it looked like we could be blown out of the water but hard work kept us in the game as well as a commitment to the team. East Perth have been playing impressive football and are set to make an impact in the finals so to get over the line was outstanding.
With scores even for much of the game we asked for the boys at the three quarter time to leave nothing in the tank, to take risks and do the club proud and to our credit we got our tails up and kicked on to win.
Aaron Lawn was outstanding down back for us all day as was our skipper Abe Davey & Reece Blechynden who has grown in stature over the past months.
While the curtain has closed on this season it wont be long before many of these colts are playing in the senior group and we are back into it again. Until then we would like to thank everyone for their on going support including players, parents, coaches, support staff and everybody who makes this program tick. We hope we did you proud.
